It is only in the last few years of practice that I have truly witnessed the potential of chiropractic care. While I was very successful in relieving pain for my patients, I did not heed the advice of some of my chiropractic colleagues. “Ask your patients about allergies”, they would say, “Ask your patients about digestive disorders”, “ear infections” etc.,etc.. They were helping people with these problems every day, but the fact is I was skeptical.
I have had many people over the years ask me how I came to be a chiropractor. I could say that I got lucky, but I believe it is much more than that. I have always enjoyed life and would step through most doors that opened in front of me. I typically would take a peak in and if it interested me I walked through and continued on my journey.
Dr. Beth grew up in Upstate New York in a town called Stillwater. At a young age, she always had a desire to join the healthcare field. This continued throughout high school and into college where she decided to become a doctor. Initially, her goal was medical school; however, after receiving her personal training certification while earning her undergraduate at the State University of New York Plattsburgh, her gears shifted. She started to understand the role prevention, nutrition and rehabilitation had in healthcare. A friend recommended chiropractic as a discipline and after volunteering to work with a doctor in Clifton Park, NY,
