Dr. Beth Hladik

Dr. Beth Hladik

Dr. Beth grew up in Upstate New York in a town called Stillwater.  At a young age, she always had a desire to join the healthcare field.  This continued throughout high school and into college where she decided to become a doctor.  Initially, her goal was medical school; however, after receiving her personal training certification while earning her undergraduate at the State University of New York Plattsburgh, her gears shifted.  She started to understand the role prevention, nutrition and rehabilitation had in healthcare.  A friend recommended chiropractic as a discipline and after volunteering to work with a doctor in Clifton Park, NY, Dr. Beth knew it was the path for her.

In addition to her personal training, her undergraduate studies were focused on biochemistry and research in biology.  Her various research studies were presented at Cornell, Smith College and UMass Amherst.  Upon completion of her Bachelor of Science, she attended Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  In postgraduate school, Dr. Beth was the student chapter president for the American Chiropractic Association.  In this role, she lobbied in Washington, DC and St. Paul, MN for patient rights and the advancement of the profession.  In her time lobbying and talking to legislatures, she fell in love with the nation's capital.  After receiving her doctorate, she worked back in her home town for a few years before deciding to move to Washington, DC.  Dr. Beth and her husband spent time living and working in the Nation's Capitol before returning to Upstate New York.

Dr. Beth has additional certifications in Webster Technique for pregnant mothers and has completed additional courses in the International Chiropratic Pediatric Association while pursuing her fellowship.  As a mother, she has a passion to help women throughout pregnancy as well as pediatric patients from just after birth to late adolescence.  She is excited to work at Tackett Chiropractic where she brings her passion to help others by delivering the best methods for care.  Additionally, her background in research fosters her need to stay current on the chiropractic research for her patients and utilize objective assessments to deliver precise evaluations and measure accurate treatment goals.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, running and giving health talks in the community.
